Unter der Woche steht das ViNN:Lab oft im Zeichen der Schülerworkshops. So auch im vergangenen Dezember und Anfang Januar – im Projekt PHABLABS 4.0. In 10 europäischen Ländern erhalten junge Menschen u. A. in Workshops Einblick in die Schlüsseltechnologie Photonik.
In der Praxis brachten Schüler*innen der 7. Klasse der Willy-Brandt-Schule, Berlin mittels LEDs & Glasfaser Kuscheltiere zum Leuchten – „Cuddley Toy“. Dabei wurde das Prinzip der Totalreflexion im Dezember-Workshop ausgenutzt.
Anfang Januar ging es dann um den Herzschlag. Schüler*innen der 12. Klasse vom Da-Vinci-Campus Nauen konstruierten einen Herzschlagdetektor. Mittels Infrarot-LED und Foto-Detektor kann so der Puls digital ermittelt werden.
Dank geht an alle Beteiligten fürs motivierte ausprobieren und konstruieren.

During the week the ViNN:Lab is often dedicated to student workshops. This was also the case last December and at the beginning of January – in the PHABLABS 4.0 project. In 10 European countries, young people are getting an insight into the key technology of photonics in workshops.
A 7th grade class of the Willy Brandt School in Berlin used LEDs and glass fibre to make cuddly toys shine. The principle of total reflection was used in this December workshop.
At the beginning of January it was all about the heartbeat. Students of the 12th grade of the Da-Vinci-Campus Nauen constructed a heartbeat detector. Using infrared LEDs and photo detectors, the pulse can be measured digitally.
